How long has British Education Services been operating? British Education Services has been training nannies and caregivers since 2000 — over 25 years. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified, Punjab Government licensed, and a Member of the International Nanny Association. Over 1,000 students have been placed in Canada, UK, Australia, and other countries.

Courses and Eligibility

What courses does British Education Services offer? We offer: Nanny Course, Caregiver Course, HCA Course, Home Support Worker (NOC 4412), Elder Care, Patient Care, NTT (Nursery Teachers Training), and ECE (Early Childhood Education). Supporting services include IELTS coaching, OET coaching, WES application, visa documentation, and international placement support.

Who is eligible to join a nanny or caregiver course in India? Any Indian national with a minimum 10th or 12th pass qualification is eligible. No prior experience is required. There is no age limit. Students, housewives, working professionals, and career changers are all welcome. Both males and females can enroll.

Is there an age limit for joining a nanny course? No. There is no age limit for joining our nanny or caregiver courses. We have trained students ranging from school leavers to experienced professionals looking to switch careers and work abroad.

Do I need experience to join a caregiver course? No prior experience is needed. Our courses are built for complete beginners. You will receive structured classroom training, practical hands-on sessions, field training, and a nationally recognised certificate upon successful completion.

Can I do a nanny course after 12th pass? Yes. Completing a nanny course after 12th is one of the most common career pathways for young students in Punjab. No additional qualifications are required. Our 6-month program can be completed before your next academic year begins.


Course Duration and Fees

How long is a nanny course in India? Our nanny course is available in two durations — 6 months and 1 year. The 6-month course covers core childcare and nanny skills. The 1-year course includes advanced modules, extended practical training, and is preferred by employers in Canada, UK, and Australia.

What is the fee for a caregiver course in Punjab? Caregiver course fees range from ₹60,000 to ₹1,20,000 for 6-month and 1-year programs respectively. Fees cover training, study materials, and certification. IELTS coaching, WES application, and visa documentation are available as separate services.

Is the nanny course fee refundable? The booking amount is refundable or transferable to another course if you cancel before classes begin. Training and Classes

Does British Education Services offer online nanny courses? Yes. We offer online classes for theoretical subjects including child development, caregiving techniques, nutrition, and communication skills. Practical training is available at our Amritsar centre. Online students across India can complete theory online and attend practical sessions in Amritsar.

What is taught in a nanny course? Our nanny course covers: newborn and infant care, child development (ages 0–12), feeding and nutrition, hygiene and safety, home management, first aid and CPR, communication skills, and professional live-in nanny etiquette — aligned with employer requirements in Canada, UK, and Australia.

What is taught in a caregiver course? Our caregiver course covers: geriatric and elder care, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, patient mobility and handling, nutrition and meal preparation, community health services, first aid, medication management, and documentation — aligned with Canada NOC 4412 and UK Health and Care Worker visa requirements.


Certification and Verification

What certificate do I receive after completing the nanny course? You receive a Result-Cum-Detailed Mark Card issued by British Education Services (ISO 9001:2015 certified, Punjab Govt licensed). The certificate includes your registration number, subjects, marks, grade, and is verifiable online at britishedu.in/certificate-verification.

Is a British Education Services certificate valid for Canada and UK? Our certificates are issued by a government-certified, ISO-certified institute and are accepted by employers in Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, and the Middle East. For Canadian immigration (Express Entry/PR), a WES credential evaluation is additionally required, which we fully assist with.

Can I get a nanny job in Canada after completing this course? Yes. Our Nanny and Home Support Worker courses are specifically designed for the Canadian market, aligned with NOC 4412 requirements. After completing the course, clearing IELTS, and completing WES evaluation, you can apply for the Canada Home Support Worker Pilot 2027 work permit and PR pathway.

Which countries can I work in as a nanny or caregiver from India? After completing our course, you can apply for nanny and caregiver jobs in Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Germany, Malta, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. We have active employer networks in Canada, UK, and Australia.

Does British Education Services guarantee a job abroad? No legitimate institute can guarantee international employment. We provide professional placement support — profile preparation, verified employer introductions, interview coordination, and visa guidance — to give you the strongest possible chance. Over 1,000 students have been successfully placed since 2000.

How long does it take to get a job abroad after completing the course? Typically 6 months to 18 months from course completion, depending on your IELTS scores, destination country, visa processing timelines, and employer availability. Canada placements generally take 9–18 months. UK and Middle East placements can be faster at 4–9 months.

What is the salary of a nanny in Canada, UK, and Australia? Approximate salaries: Canada — CAD $2,000–$3,500/month. UK — £1,500–£2,500/month. Australia — AUD $2,500–$4,000/month. Middle East — AED $1,200–$2,500/month. These are 3x to 5x higher than equivalent roles in India.


IELTS and OET

What IELTS score is required for a caregiver job in Canada? Canada’s Home Support Worker Pilot requires a minimum CLB 4, which equals approximately IELTS band 4.5 overall. However, a score of 6.0 or above significantly improves your employability and immigration options. We offer targeted IELTS coaching to achieve the required scores.

What IELTS score is required for a Health and Care Worker visa in UK? The UK Health and Care Worker visa requires IELTS Academic or UKVI with a minimum overall band of 6.0–7.0 depending on the employer’s Tier 2 sponsorship requirements. OET Grade B is also accepted as an alternative.

What is the difference between IELTS and OET for caregivers? IELTS is a general English test accepted for immigration and employment globally. OET (Occupational English Test) is designed specifically for healthcare workers and is preferred for nursing and caregiving roles in the UK and Australia. Both are accepted — we coach for both.


Visa and Immigration

Does British Education Services help with visa applications? Yes. What documents are needed for a caregiver visa to Canada? Typically required: valid passport, British Education Services certificate, WES credential evaluation, IELTS score (CLB 4+), verified job offer letter from a Canadian employer with LMIA, proof of funds, and SOP. What is the Canada Home Support Worker Pilot 2027? Canada’s Home Support Worker Pilot is a federal immigration pathway offering work permits and permanent residency to trained home support workers with a valid NOC 4412 job offer. It is one of the most accessible PR routes for Indian caregivers trained under the NOC 4412 classification.

What is NOC 4412 and why is it important for Canada? NOC 4412 (Home Support Workers and Related Occupations) is Canada’s official job classification for caregivers and home support workers. It is the required NOC code for the Canada Home Support Worker Pilot, Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP), and most caregiver work permits. Our Home Support Worker course is specifically aligned with NOC 4412.

What is WES evaluation and do I need it for Canada? WES (World Education Services) credential evaluation is required for most Canadian immigration pathways including Express Entry, the Home Support Worker Pilot, and Provincial Nominee Programs. It converts your Indian qualifications into Canadian equivalents. We handle the complete WES application process end-to-end.
