Our Heritage

The roots of British Education Services trace back to before 2000, when the institute originally operated as the Institute of British and American Languages, founded by the late Mr. Manuel Joseph — recognised as one of the earliest pioneers of IELTS coaching and professional nanny training in India.

In its earliest days, training was delivered through home tutoring sessions and hands-on hospital placements — a foundation that shaped the institute’s deeply practical teaching style still followed today.

In 2000, the institute was formally established as a structured organization. Over the following two decades, British Education Services expanded into one of Punjab’s most respected training networks, with 12 branches at its peak across the state — including campuses in Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Ludhiana, Moga, Barnala, Bathinda, Khanna, Chandigarh, Mohali, Sangrur, Nawanshahr, Firozpur, and Amritsar.

Today, we operate at a pan-India level through our online learning platform, while our flagship physical campus continues to serve students from our headquarters in Amritsar.
